In truth, a writer’s mind is unique and who can know it but another writer. Writers experience different thoughts on a daily basis. Just walking down the street might bring thoughts that would make a great story. Writers look at their surroundings and consider the weather, the people around them, different situations, noise, lights and colors, shadows, mishaps and misfortunes and the list goes on. I really thought that this point brought to light the writer’s mind. “The writer’s mind is wily.”
In truth a writer will often be distracted from any diversions because the thought process is always moving, imagining and creating the next topic. A writer has millions of ideas but harnessing those thoughts on paper is a different story. Writers might begin one story but become so captivated by something else that they start a new story, placing the other one on the side.
